Jody Stange

Jody Stange, Executive Vice President

Jody is the Executive Vice President for Auction Cause and is responsible for client management, auction consulting, and design concepts.  Jody’s history with eBay dates back to the company’s infancy in the 1990′s, where Jody was a both a buyer and seller, allowing him to understand, adapt and capitalize on the growth and innovations of the website over the years. Pre Auction Cause in 2004, Eric and Jody worked closely together on the first successful large-scale external charity auction on eBay, with the proceeds benefiting the Prostate Cancer Society, raising over $400,000 for the cause.

Prior to joining Auction Cause, Jody was a Vice President for Charity Brands Marketing, a cause related marketing agency headquartered in New York City. During his 10 years with Charity Brands, Jody was responsible for client management on many of the company’s global non-profit organizations including the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, the American Diabetes Association, Easter Seals, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and dozens of others.

Jody obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Marketing at the University of Richmond. He also has graduate level education in technology management and e-business solutions. Jody has a diverse background in cross platform computer applications, design, programming, and database technologies.

Unrelated but certainly notable, Jody also works for the National Marathon Pace Team and has run over 90 marathons, 10 Ironman Triathlons and has ridden his bike across the continental United States.
