Like bees, birds and butterflies, North American bats are dying in record numbers. When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder heard that bats are in trouble, he knew he wanted to do something to help. Zack contacted the Organization for Bat Conservation, located just down the street from the set, to see how the film could support the organization’s Save the Bats campaign. The result? More than 100 bat houses built out of the set by cast and crew to give bats safe and happy homes and to help raise funds for the campaign. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Organization for Bat Conservation.
